Dr. Rajesh Prasad Gupta has completed DNB – Orthopedic Surgery, MBBS, Fellowship (Arthroscopy) Sports Medicine & Arthroplasty (Joint Replacement) Germany, Diploma in Sports Medicine (International Olympic Committee, Switzerland), and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Delhi University).

He is a Joint Replacement, Trauma, Arthroscopic, and Sports Medicine Specialist with nearly 18 years of experience. Dr. Rajesh Prasad Gupta is a Consultant in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine (Surgeon), and Joint Replacement Surgery. His special interest lies in Joint Replacement, Trauma, and Arthroscopic surgeries. He is currently a Consultant at Jyraj Clinic Noida and Jaypee Hospital, Sector-128 Noida.

Formerly, he worked as a Consultant with various prestigious hospitals, including Max Hospital Saket (New Delhi), Yashoda Multispecialty Hospital (Hyderabad), Fortis Hospital (Gurgaon), and Apollo Spectra (Greater Noida).

His unique qualification includes a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a national institute, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi (University of Delhi), allowing him to apply both physiotherapy and orthopedic knowledge to treat patients, whether through surgical or non-surgical methods.

Dr. Gupta holds an MBBS from RGUHS Bangalore, a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Orthopedics from JLN Hospital & Research Center, Bhilai (NBEMS, New Delhi), a Fellowship in (Arthroscopy) Sports Medicine & Arthroplasty (Joint Replacement) from Germany, and a Fellowship in (Arthroscopy) Sports Medicine from Yashoda Multispecialty Hospital, Secunderabad. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Switzerland.

He is extensively trained in Joint Replacement, Trauma, and Arthroscopic Surgery under internationally trained surgeons at Yashoda Hospital, Hyderabad and SCHON KLINIK, LORSCH (Germany), having performed numerous joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries.

Dr. Rajesh is an AO (Association for Osteosynthesis, Switzerland) trained trauma surgeon who completed Basic, Advanced, and Master courses in the techniques of Fracture Fixation. These courses have provided him with detailed knowledge of surgical nuances and enhanced his skills as a surgeon.

He has undergone training in Dope Testing (Exposure and imparted training in the field of Dope Testing) at the National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), Government of India, J.L.N Stadium Complex.

Dr. Gupta served as Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Consultant for the second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL, Twenty20 cricket league) organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) from 5th March to 17th March 2024 in New Delhi.

He was also associated as an Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Consultant in the Indian Veteran Premier League (IVPL), a T20 international cricket league presented by the Board of Veteran Cricket India (BVCI), from 23rd February to 3rd March 2024 at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

In addition, he served as Team Doctor (Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Specialist) for the 11th Asian Junior Wushu Championship in Macau, China from 14th to 21st August 2023, organized by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (Government of India).

Dr. Rajesh has held positions as Chairman of the Medical Committee and Visiting Sports Medicine Specialist with the Fencing Association of India, and he accompanied the Indian team to the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in December 2019 and the Fencing World Cup Championship in Budapest, Hungary, in March 2021.

He is also a Visiting Orthopedic Consultant and Faculty at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi.
